Description
Pharmaceutical wholesaler Pluripharm, one of the largest suppliers of pharmacies and hospitals in the Netherlands, has announced plans to dismiss 180 employees. In 2018, the company faced problems with the implementation of a new IT-system, which resulted in errors in the inventory management. These errors, in combination with sector-wide supply shortages, caused 80 out of their 200 pharmacies to leave Pluripharm in January 2019. Through this restructuring, the company aims to ensure the continuity of its business and regain stability.
