Description
Carrefour, the French multinational retailer, has opened its new hypermarket in San Cugat, Barcelona, which combines its traditional sections with new services and commercial models. The company has kept more than 100 employees, who were working at the site for the Eroski company, and has announced plans to hire 120 more workers to strengthen the service in tills, shelf-stocking, sales and sections such as toys, electronics, appliances and textiles.
Previous restructurings took place in 2016, 2015 and 2014, creating 7,600 jobs in total.
