The health director of the 'De Blasi' institute announced the dismissal of all of the 100 employees of the health structure in Reggio Calabria.
The decision is a consequence of the ruling of the administrative court which suspended the accreditation of the laboratory of clinical analyses and, thereby, stopped public funding. This decision pushed the management to close the activities and initiate the collective redundancy procedures for all staff.
A protest demonstration is organised by the management and the workers on December 22, 2018.
