Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The MCGP group, which manufactures small and large series of jewellery parts, announced the recruitment of 150 employees within five years for its new workshop in Besançon (Doubs) where it already employs 70 people within the Franck & Person company. The new workshop will open in the summer of 2019 with these 70 employees. In 2010, MCGP had already taken over the Parisian high jewellery workshop Coringer. MCGP also employs 70 people near Moulins (Allier), where its headquarters are located. The investment in the new site amounts to €12.4 million and is supported by the city and the region.
