The logistics company LTM (Logistica Terra Mare), which operates warehouses for the supermarket group Sicilia Discount, started the procedures for the collective dismissal of 130 employees working at Sicilia Discount's two locations in Catania.
According to the company, the decision to the fact that the Sicilia Discount is currently facing a crisis and it is no longer paying for LTM's services.
A meeting between the company and the trade unions has been set for December, 28, in order to find alternative solutions to the dismissals.
