Logistics company Palletforce has announced plans to create 100 new jobs at its site in Burton on Trent. The company, which already employs 200 people at the site, will add 50 jobs before Christmas 2018, with the remaining jobs expected to be added in the early part of 2019. The jobs will be offered as permanent positions and none will be zero hours contracts. Roles will be for manual jobs connected with loading and unloading goods; there are some positions for forklift drivers. Local politicians and business leaders have welcomed the new jobs.
