Description
Hella Autotechnik Nova, one of the leading domestic manufacturers of automobile headlights, has announced plans to cut between 400 and 500 jobs in 2019 due to unsuccessful acquisitions.The redundancies will take place in three waves during the first, second and third quarters of 2019.
As of December 2018, Hella Autotechnik Nova employs 3,600 people at three sites in the Czech Republic (Mohelnice, Loštice and Ostrava). The company supplies headlights especially to Audi, BMW, Volkswagen and Škoda.
A previous restructuring took place in 2015, when 200 positions were created.
