Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Norwegian business software solutions company Visma Software has announced plans to expand its operations in Romania by recruiting at least 100 new employees in Sibiu and Timisoara by the end of 2019. Since 2014, the company has increased the number of its employees by 25-30 per cent every year.
Visma Software Romania was established in 2006 when the first Research & Development centre opened in Timisoara. As of December 2018, the company has an employee base of 450 in Romania.
A previous restructuring took place in 2017, when 50 new positions were created.
