Description
Swedish furniture retailer Ikea has announced that it is to cut 350 UK office jobs as part of its worldwide restructure which will see the loss of 7,500 jobs. The changes are a response to changing customer behaviour and mean the Ikea will concentrate on its online content and city centre businesses to meet customer preferences. In the UK the company also confirmed that it would be opening a new store in Greenwich in the spring of 2019 which will result in the creation of 500 new jobs.
