Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Professional service firm Ernst & Young (EY) has announced plans to create 300 new positions in Portugal. The company is looking for young people from diverse academic backgrounds such as economics, finance, management, science, technology, engineering and maths to contribute to the development of the firm’s digital transformation programme. The recruits will fill several positions in the departments of cyber-security, business intelligence, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain.
EY provides auditing services, tax consultancy, business consulting and transaction advisory. EY employs over 247,570 employees worldwide and has offices in over 150 countries.
