Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Renault group has announced an investment plan of €400 million in the Maubeuge Construction Automobile (MCA) plant at Maubeuge (Nord) over five years and the recruitment of 200 employees. The site will welcome the production of the new version of the Kangoo utility vehicle, as well as a new light utility vehicle from its Nissan partner, the Nissan NV250, on the same platform, from the middle of next year. Since 2012, Renault has been producing Mercedes Citan on the Kangoo model at the Maubeuge plant, which is considered the most competitive in the group in France, and where 300 people have been recruited on permanent contracts since 2015. Recruitment announcement have been recorded in February 2018 (127 job creations) and in 2006 (800 job creations).
