Description
Courier company DHL has announced the construction of a new delivery centre on an industrial terrain in Zwolle. The facility is expected to be operational by spring 2019 and 130 people are to be employed there. The centre is equipped with, among other things, solar panels in order to be self-sufficient in terms of electricity and gas-free. This is the fifth new service centre the company has launched in the Netherlands since 2015. The cause of this rapid expansion is the fast growth of the international courier delivery service. Worldwide, DHL employs 360,000 people in 220 countries.
