Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish convenience store chain Dino Polska has announced that it will create 350 jobs at its new distribution centre in Wolbórz. The total warehouse area of the centre will cover 42,500 square metres and on the site there will be among others parking spaces, temperature controlled warehouses and freezers. The centre is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2019.
Dino was founded in 1999 and its stores are generally located in medium and small-sized towns. As of November 2018, the chain has over 900 stores and three distribution centres across the country.
