Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler Group has announced that it will create 200 jobs at its service centre, Global Services Europe, in Wrocław. The company declared that it will create in total up to 900 jobs within the next years. Schaeffler is looking for experienced financial, procurement, human resources, logistics and digitalisation specialists with knowledge of foreign languages, especially German and English. The unit will be launched in October 2018.
Schaeffler Group was founded in 1946. As of October 2018, it operates in 50 countries with 73 factories and 18 Research and Development centres. The group employs over 92,000 people worldwide.
