Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Danish capital company Dovista engaged in manufacturing of doors and windows is to create 393 new jobs in Marijampole by the end of 2020. On 23 October 2018, the company will officially open a new manufacturing plant in Marijampole free economic zone. According to the management, the number of employees in the company should grow to 250 by the end of 2018, and should reach 500 in the next few years. Dovista has already employed 107 employees.
The company belongs to Dovista group which consists of nine independent brands and has a total of 4,000 employees who manufacture doors and windows in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, Ireland and Poland.
