Financial technology company Revolut has announced plans to double the size of its London workforce over the coming two years. As of October 2018, the company, which operates a cash transaction app, employs 200 people in London and a further 200 globally. The expansion has been made possible by the huge increase in turnover experienced in the previous year. Revolut is in the process of applying for an e-money licence in Luxembourg and it has already applied for a European banking licence in Lithuania in order to better manage any potential difficulties arising from Brexit.
