Description
The state owned Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) has announced 375-400 job cuts, which will be implemented by 2021, due to savings in its budget. The restructuring plan is expected to save DKK 420 million (€56 million) annually. Several television and radio channels will be shut down; the number of traditional television channels will be decreased from six to three and in the radio area the eight channels will be reduced to five. Among the redundancies, there are also 25 executive positions.
