Description
The Norvegian group Tomra, a leading provider of reverse vending solutions for container deposit return systems, has announced the recruitment of 1,000 to 2,000 employees worldwide in the next five years. The group is preparing for 'unprecedented predicted growth'. According to the management, the primary reason for this global recruitment is that 'the world is waking up to the fact that we have a huge plastic problem and we need to be far more efficient in the way we recycle. Container deposit schemes are recognized as one of the only ways of achieving these high targets'.
