Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Staffordshire based cleaning services provider JPR solutions has announced plans to create 116 new jobs. The business has been helped by a 35,000 GBP (about €39,100) loan from Michelin Tyres Development Fund. The new jobs are required as JPR has signed a new contract to work with 14 ambulance trusts across the UK to provide deep cleaning services for ambulances. The jobs will be added over a twelve month period and will bring the total number of employees at the company to around 180.
