Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
G-Manufacture aéronautique equipement (GMEA) will install in Vesoul (Doubs), a plant that will manufacture highly innovative flight suits for army pilots designed by the Swiss group G-Nius. The flight suits that will be manufactured from the beginning of the year 2019. GMEA has announced the recruitment of thirty people in September and October for cutting and assembly. Information meetings are organised at the local Public employment service (Pôle emploi) office in Vesoul. The profiles sought are people with or without experience who will be selected on the basis of dexterity tests and with a motivational interview. They will then be trained in a training center financed by the public authorities (GRETA). With this technology described as "disruptive", the manager, think to create 100 to 350 positions in the future according to the different estimates given to the press.
