Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
SAP Hungary, the Hungarian subsidiary of German software corporation SAP SE, is to raise its workforce to 1,200 by the end of 2018, the subsidiary’s CEO said in 10 September. The number of employees was about 950 in early September.
SAP Hungary achieved record turnover in 2017, due to the ongoing expansion of the company’s client base, and further growth is expected for 2018. A growing number of Hungarian companies from various sectors hire SAP to develop their information systems and to introduce business intelligence tools, but a number of major public sector agents and universities have established long-term cooperation with the firm as well.
