Description
Due to a decrease in the number of orders, SIF, a manufacturer of pillars to secure windmills, and oil- and gasplatforms to the seabed, will just about halve its number of employees by reducing the workforce from 615 to 320 full-time positions. The company in Roermond saw its profit fall bij more than 75% in 2018, which is the reason for the layoffs. The workers that are let go are mostly temporary employees.
