Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Danfoss Trata, the Slovenian manufacturer of motors and valves for temperature control, balancing valves, self-acting temperature regulator and plate heat exchagers, plans to employ 70 more workers by the end of 2018. The company is a member of the Danish group Danfoss and has two plants Osrednjeslovenska region (Ljubljana and Kamnik). The job creation is related to the expansion of production capacities after the relocation of the product line of heat exchangers from the Polish factory Sondex to the plant in Kamnik and the new product lines, such as balancing valves, pressure and flow controllers. Danfoss Trata now employs 441 workers.
