Description
The British registered Danish online store Mytrendyphone.dk, the largest online selling mobile phone accessories, announced on 6 August 2018 that half of the 300 employees in Denmark will be made redundant. According to the owner of Mytrendyphone.dk, the company has lost 20-30% of its webpage traffic in Denmark and 70% in France and Germany since the Google algorithm has changed. Their webpage was removed from the top propositions when visitors are searching on a number of key words on the search engine, as for instance 'mobile phone cover'.
