Description
Poultry company Bernard Matthews has announced plans to create 400 new jobs at its site in Great Witchingham, Norfolk. The announcement follows a major new deal to supply cooked chicken products to a supermarket group, and marks a change in fortune for the business which shed over 100 jobs in 2017. The business was taken over in 2016 by the founder of the 2 Sisters Food Group and there has been substantial investment in the business since then. The new jobs on offer include all levels from factory management to process workers. There is no information on when the new jobs are expected to be filled.
