Description
Crantock Bakery, based in the small Cornish village of Indian Queens, has entered administration and has announced 109 job losses. The job losses have been made with immediate effect. It is understood that several attempts had been made over recent years to sell the business, but no suitable buyer could be identified. Ten members of staff are being kept on to assist with the wind down of the business and the sale of stock. The business had operated for nearly 30 years and produced a range of baked goods including pasties and sausage rolls.
