Description
The offshore wind turbine manufacturer Adwen, announced it will cut 260 jobs at its plant in Bremerhaven due to internal restructuring by the end of 2020. Adwen, which is owned by the wind turbine manufacturer Siemens-Gamesa Renewable Energay, is facing serious restructuring as it is moving away from production and focussing more on maintenance.
Management and works council have started negotiations regarding a social plan and intend to have an agreement by September 2018.
As of July 2018, Adwen has 480 employees at its plant in Bremerhaven.
