Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Software company Neueda, based in Athlone, Co Westmeath, are planning to recruit 130 people by the end of 2021.
The Neueda office opened last January and 70 people have been hired since then; the office is expected to have 80 employees by the end of 2018.
The roles are in technology specialists, including experienced software developers and cloud engineers.
The jobs measure is supported by IDA Ireland.
Neueda are headquartered in Belfast and work with clients such as Citi, Fidelity Investments, Ericsson and Liberty Mutual.
