Scandinavian bakery company Lantmännen Unibake has announced that it will create 110 jobs at its new production facility in Nowa Sól. The unit is located in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, Poland. By the end of 2019, the company plans to invest in total €75 million in the project.
Lantmännen Unibake is one of Europe's largest bakery groups with 37 bakeries and employs 6,000 people in 20 countries. The group provides frozen and fresh bakery product for retail and food service markets in more than 60 markets around the world. In Poland, the company has been operating for 25 years; it has two facilities in Poznań and Nieporęt near Warsaw.
