Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Animal food science company Phibro is planning to create 150 new jobs in Sligo, over the next five years.
The jobs will be in managerial, quality analysis and engineering roles.
The focus of the work at the Sligo plant is the production of vaccines for the treatment of a range of poultry diseases.
Phibro is taking over the former Elanco plant in the area; Elanco vacated the specialist site in 2017.
The company records $764 million in annual sales, across 65 countries, and employs over 1,400 people globally.
