IT services firm Novosco has announced plans to create 146 jobs following the award of a major contract with NHS England. Novosco's headquarters are in Belfast where 114 of the new jobs will be based. The remaining 32 jobs will be based near Manchester, in England. The average annual salary for the new positions is reported to be GBP 42,000 (€47,120). The roles in Belfast are also being supported by a GBP 1.2 million (€1.35 million) award from Invest NI. Recruitment for the new jobs is already underway and is expected to continue into 2020.
