Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Hungarian subsidiary of German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies AG inaugurated its new headquarters building in Cegléd and announced the creation of 533 new jobs. The HUF 17 billion (EUR 51.7 million) investment was supported by the government with a non-repayable grant of HUF 1.2 billion (EUR 3.7 million).
The plant in Cegléd was opened in 1989 with 37 workers, now the company has almost 1,000 employees.
Infineon Technologies AG is a market leader in the development and production of semiconductors, it has 37,500 employees.
