Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Multinational producer of automotive components Adient (previously Johnson Controls) has announced that it will create 120 jobs at its new production hall in Siemianowice Śląskie, within the next months. The company is looking for production, quality and new product launch engineers as well as locksmiths and machine operators. In total, the company plans to create 800 jobs at the site located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland. The company has invested $35 million (€30.4 million) in the project.
Adient specializes in the production of car seats. It has been operating in Siemianowice Śląskie since 2006, employing 1,700 people. The company has also production units in Skarbimierz, Świebodzin, Bieruń and Żory.
