Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French provider of IT and engineering services Sii has announced that it will create 100 new jobs at its unit in Katowice within the next 12 months. Sii is looking for programmers, business analysts, testers, robotics specialist, QA engineers and business intelligence specialists. The company has just leased new larger office in the city.
Sii was established in 1979 in France. The company has been operating in Poland since 2006. Currently, the company employs 3,600 people in nine Polish cities: Warszawa, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Łódź, Lublin, Rzeszów and Katowice. In the city of Katowice, the company employs over 200 specialists; the unit provides services for companies operating in such sectors as banking, train transport, manufacturing, automatics, robotics and automotive industry.
