Description
Český rozhlas (Czech Radio), a national broadcasting company, has announced to cut at least 100 employees out of 1,500 staff by the end of 2018 due to a planned increase in wages during the autumn. The reason is thus the saving of personnel costs, maintaining competitiveness and the amendment to the VAT Act. The company will proceed in accordance with applicable laws and a valid collective agreement with the trade union. All employees leaving the radio will be able to conclude an Agreement on Termination of Employment and thus receive two average monthly earnings beyond the collective agreement.
