Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The car manufacturer Toyota intends to strengthen its sales teams to cope with rising sales. Thus, 200 jobs will be gradually created in France. Toyota will open, in September, 4 schools of sales in Nantes, Paris, Lyon and Toulouse. Toyota will also create two aftersales schools in Argenteuil and Albi. The training sessions will be carried out for a period of 13 to 14 months in the form of work-study employmenrt contracts (contrat d'alternance). A recognised certificate in the automotive sector is awarded at the end of the training. The positions sought are commercial advisers for new vehicles and used vehicles, technicians and mechanics, sales consultants for service or for parts and accessories. The recruitment is led by the raise in sales of hybrid-electric cars.
