Description
Luxury menswear brand Cantarelli will not resume operations since the procedure for operating under provisional budget was negated by Arezzo' courthouse on 28 May 2018. The company had declared bankruptcy in 16 May. All employees will be collectively laid off at the end of the week.
The company discontinued its production in April 2018 after two and a half years of special administration.
Cantarelly employs 250 workers, which are currently suspended from work according to the procedures of the Italian insolvency law. Trade unions are working in order to ensure the best possible access to support instruments to the affected workers.
