Description
Southern Water, the privately owned company that provides water and waste water services in large parts of South East England, has announced that it will make 150 of its employees redundant. A spokesperson said that staff working in management and support positions in the Brighton and Worthing offices will be affected. Southern Water said that it will offer alternative roles to employees who are affected by the cuts and that all redundancies will be voluntary. The redundancies come as part of a “business transformation and improvement project”. The CEO of Southern Water said this restructuring will help the group to improve their customers' services.
