Description
The social media company Facebook will be creating 500 new jobs at its content moderation centres in Essen and Berlin by the end of 2018. As of June 2018, Facebook has 1,500 employees combined in Essen and Berlin. By the end of the year, Facebook intends to have approximately 1,000 employees at each centre.
Globally, Facebook plans to double its workforce in content moderation to 20,000 this year.
