Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Solar Turbines CZ, a subsidiary of American provider of industrial gas turbine engines, compressors and mechanical drive packages, has opened its testing centre in the Žebrák industrial zone, where the company will create up to 300 new high-skilled jobs. Besides the repair centre in Žatec and the administrative facility in Prague, this is the third important location of the company in the Czech Republic. The firm is looking mainly for Technical Training Instructors, Project Assistants and Buyers.
The Solar Turbines testing centre will be responsible for assembling and testing turbines. Fully functional components and partially assembled units from Žatec and other branches of the company will be assembled into complete turbines, which will be tested at the same time before being sent to the customer.
