Description

The Danish supermarket chain, Coop, has announced that it will close down 16 stores called Dagli'Brugsen and LokalBrugsen across the country. About 300 employees will be affected by the closures. These shops have been making losses for many years according to a spokesman of the group. The stores will be closed by the end of June. According to the collective agreement in force, they are entitled to further training during seven weeks.
