Description
Online retailer Amazon will create a new warehouse site at Senlis (Oise) in the first quarter of 2019. The site wil employ about 500 people. By the end of 2018, Amazon will also open a warehouse site in Bretigny-sur-Orge (Essone) that will employ 2,000 people. The local authorities have invested €100,000 in road construction to facilitate the implementation of the new site. In February 2017, Amazon already announced the creation of 1,500 positions in France by the end of 2017. Job creation were recorded on the ERM Database six times since 2007: 200 positions in 2007, 250 in 2010, 400 in 2012, 2,500 in 2014, 450 in September 2016 and 250 in November 2016.
