Description
Cosma, a subsidiary of Magna, is set to open a new factory in Telford which will create 300 jobs. The site will cast aluminium parts for use in the motor industry and will service a contract with nearby manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover. The site has been under development since autumn 2016 and production is expected to start imminently following the official opening in April 2018. A member of the local council welcomed the new business and noted that this deal represents the largest single investment from overseas for ten years. The councillor also noted that the site has potential to expand if future orders demand greater capacity.
