Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The contact center company Competence Call Center (CCC) will set up an operational center in Barcelona with 500 employees. The centre will provide content quality control services exclusively to the Californian company Facebook and erase damaging content in the social network such as fake news. The contact center will be based in the eight floors of rented space in the Torre Glòries. This centre will be a replica of the model already implemented in Germany, where another content control center for Facebook has been opened.
