Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The regional newspaper publisher Est Bourgogne Média (EBM) has announced a voluntary departure plan to cut 47 positions out of a total of 300 employees. The cuts will take place at its two regional newspapers the 'Journal de Saône-et-Loire' and the 'Bien Public'. The plan affects 29 technician positions , 8 positions in the editorial office, and 10 in other services, mainly administrative positions.
EBM belongs to the group EBRA that is a subsidiary of the bank group Crédit Mutuel CIC. EBR announced 130 job cuts at other newspapers in the regions Lorraine and Alsace in 2017.
