Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The French-owned engineering and technology consulting company Alten has announced it will create 500 new positions at its centres in Bucharest, Timișoara, Cluj and Iași by 2020. The open positions are for engineers.
Alten counts approximately 1,000 employees in Romania, which includes the recently opened second centre in Bucharest.
Alten employs more than 28,000 people in 20 countries.
In 2017, the company advertised 200 new jobs for its centre in Iasi.
