Description
The Chinese owned wind turbine tower manufacturer, Titan Wind, plans to cut jobs at its factories in Varde and Esbjerg, Denmark. According to the general manager, it remains unclear how many of the 160 employees at the two factories will be laid off. The compulsory negotiations on the number of redundancies between the management and employee organisations have started. Titan Wind stated at the end of 2017 that violent price pressure on subcontractors in the wind turbine industry has had a negative impact on the company. The first redundancies will start on the 24th March.
