German truck manufacturer MAN Trucks has announced that it will create 150 new jobs at its production facility in Niepołomice (Niepołomice Investment Zone, Poland). The company is to create positions in logistics and production departments. The restructuring programme is associated with the launching of a two-shift system in the factory.
In Poland, MAN has been operating since 1996; it has three factories in the country (Niepołomice, Kraków and Starachowice). MAN Trucks has been operating in Niepołomice since October 2007; it specializes in the production of heavy utility vehicles. It currently employs about 550 people in this site.
