Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Segula technologies, an engineering group working for all of the major industrial sectors (automotive, aerospace, energy, rail, naval, pharmaceutical and oil & gas) has announced a plan to hire 4,600 new employees worldwide including 2,200 in France, in 2018. The group will mainly recruit engineers and technicians. Half of the employees who will be recruited in France will be young graduates. Of these 2,200 jobs, 90% will be permanent employment contract.
Two previous recruitment announcement of 2200 employees in 2017 and 300 employees in 2011 were recorded in ERM Database. The group operates in 28 countries and has about 11,000 employees worldwide and 6,000 in France.
