Description
VW Slovakia will recruit more than 500 new workers in its factory in Bratislava in 2018. Business expansion is attributed to starting production of new Audi Q8 model and the new generation of VW Touareg, which is produced in Bratislava over more than 15 years. New jobs will be offered mainly in paint and car body units. VW Slovakia employed 13,700 people by the end of 2017 and belongs to largest employers in Slovakia. It pays the highest wages in the automotive industry in Slovakia and provides attractive benefits to its employees.
Due to the shortage of qualified workers in the country, the factory in Bratislava plans to employ some people from third countries such as Serbia and Ukraine. In the past two years, Volkswagen Slovakia recruited 2,900 people in its Bratislava factory.
